| I'm a Passionate Plume RWA contest finalist! |
I go the news last week and I couldn't be more thrilled! My m/m erotic romance novel, A BIT OF ROUGH, is a finalist in a RWA contest! I was very honored and so pleased by it, I could hardly think straight for a moment when I got the notification. The full impact of a m/m romance finalizing didn't actually hit me until the congratulations began pouring in and other, more experienced authors began to tell me of outstanding it was for my novel to be included. I'm even more honored and surprised now than I was before. Just plain thrilling!

| Grand Opening Celebration |
Hey Folks,
Only a couple of days left till we make our official appearance online!! I can't tell you how excited and honored I am to be working with such a great bunch of people.

| Its just days away! |
Well Audra, my sister, and I are beyond pleased to be part of this fantastic publisher and their opening week hijinx. We wont be published with them till the end of june, but dont think we are just going to sit on our laurels here and let everyone else have the fun! No way!
So during this celebration week, we will be giving away goodies to all you awsome people who have started making Fobridden Publications a success, and will fall in love with everyones writings and hopefully, FP will become your new obsession. I know we have a ton of awsome authors here, and it is just getting better... Rene has outdone herself finding some great authors!
So anyways, when we do get our release, expect a big blow out celebration and contest from us, so check for it. You will really love our snakes... i promise.

| Is anyone else nervous?? |
I know I am, and I'm not even in the first books to be dropped!!! I'm biting my nails and chomping at the bit for Forbidden to open with a blaze of glory. We have so many things going on next week to get the launch off the pad!
First, there's an all day loop chat at the Pink Posse. We'll be floating in and out and you can talk to your fav author's about their books! And the new releases... That's on May 1st, by the way. Monday for the normal world...
Then Wednesday, May 3rd, there's an author chat at Sensual Reads in the chat room at 8pm CST. Kick off your shoes, grab a coffee, or a soda and join us! It's bound to be a ride with so many authors, and giveaways, and surprises....
Okay, then the good stuff happens on May 5th. The first releases!!! Three of them, from some outstanding writers of the romance genre. There's going to be a release celebration at the Pink Posse chat room at 8pm CST!!! Tons of stuff going on, on Friday! And there's absolutely no reason to miss it! Tell your date you're washing your hair. No, seriously!! You have to be there or you'll miss out on all the news, the goodies and surprises!

| New contract: Virtual Awakening |
 I'm happy to announce that Forbidden Publishing offered a contract for my scifi serial, Operation SpaceQuest. The first episode, Virtual Awakening, will be available soon. You read right, this is an ongoing serial for a planned 4 or five episodes, sort oflike the old time movie serials of Flash Gordon, but only MUCH sexier. This first episode was previously released at another publisher, but the rest will all be brand new.
Julie, a computer game programmer for the company SciVirtua, develops a virtual reality experience called Operation SpaceQuest. The game transports the player into the future to 3246 when Earth is on the verge of galactic war, and Dorian "The Jackal" Smith is earth's only hope.
Julie tests her program before presenting it to her boss, Dorian, the model for her space-age hero. Only, things take a turn and the game isn't virtual anymore. She is swept into her game world, where the blaster fire is very real--and so is Dorian.
Dorian took the game home to test it, but something went very wrong. He's now The Jackal and a part of the adventure, but he isn't prepared to become a space-age hero and wants out.
Julie and Dorian turn to each other for strength and discover a passionate connection that heats up each passing moment. The blaster fire raging around them doesn't come close to the inferno of burning desires within them. They must work together and their first mission is only the beginning of the adventure as they try to thwart an evil plot to release a deadly gas into the Earth's atmosphere. |

| Save a Marriage--Read Romance |
While cleaning through my desk the other day I came across a yellowed faded newspaper clipping dated June 8, 1998 that I had obviously saved. I’m glad I did for it reminded me why I enjoy writing and reading romance novels. And why I think these romances played and still play a very important role in today's’ society. I'd like to share that clipping here.
"Dear Abby,
I may be able to help “Frustrated Husband” whose wife’s sex drive was decreasing while his seemed to be increasing. My husband and I were in the same situation. I was tired after working all day, then caring for our daughters and trying to keep the house straight.
Sex never crossed my mind unless my husband mentioned it. I was usually too tired or distracted by all the “to do” lists running through my mind to look forward to a sexy evening.
By chance, I started reading romance novels. Suddenly, my sex drive increased dramatically. Some of them are very descriptive, and they caused me to think about sex throughout the day (something my husband says he’s always done). The result is, come bedtime, I’ve been mentally preparing for lovemaking all day long. Sometimes I’m even the initiator. My husband and I are happy and more satisfied. BEEN THERE, DOING THAT.
And Abby’s reply:
Dear Been There, I almost ripped my bodice when I read your solution. Now why didn’t that occur to me?
Widowed four years I have started to date. I am on several online dating sites where I see married men looking elsewhere. I propose to these men that perhaps they make a suggestion to their wives that they start reading these romances. I then wonder how many troubled relationships can eventually be saved if they were to follow my advice.

| A New Forbidden Publications Author |
Greetings!
This is an exciting time for all of us authors who through our work are helping to launch this new website that promises its readers a variety of intriguing, compelling, and spell binding fiction.
My book No More Secrets, No More Lies has had a bit of a rocky road to say the least, but I believe has found a home with FP. Given a four star review by Romantic Times Book Club Magazine I also believe No More Secrets, No More Lies will deliver what it promises, an unforgettable read that (as I've been told by others) leaves readers thinking about my characters way after they've finished the book. Which is always good thing to hear especially knowing how difficult it can be at times to create these three dimensional characters that "ring true"--the last line RT uses in its review to describe my story.
No More Secrets, No More Lies is scheduled for publication June 16. That following week I'll be at Disney World with my kids and grandkids, and I think a great way to celebrate NMS's launch with FP.

Hi,
I'm Sienna Dawn, the other half of Cia Leah and Sienna Dawn.
Our book, On The Edge, is slated for June 2nd and I'm looking forward

Im Stella, one half of the sister team of Stella and Audra Price and Forbidden has graciously picked up our Snake Were Series, the first of which, Beyond the Vision of Dreams will be out later this year. Remy Crane, a unmated were python, has been having some extemely erotic dreams for the past week about a woman hes sure dosent exist.
